When: Saturday, September 20 from 10:30-4:30

Where: In-person art class at the MoNA studio

Join Trish Harding for an inspiring color and light extravaganza in oil painting! Offered in conjunction with current exhibition Through the Light, this all-day class invites you to explore color and light from fresh perspectives and through an experimental lens—while staying grounded in the fundamentals.

The experience begins with a mini tour of the exhibit, designed to immerse participants in the themes of Through the Light and inspire the creative direction for the day’s work. Using insights gained from the tour, artists will embark on their vibrant exploration of light and color.

Please bring a brown bag lunch. We will take a break from 12 to 1 PM, during which we'll enjoy lunch together and engage in a discussion reflecting on the day's progress.

The Museum of Northwest Art resides on the land of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. With gratitude, we honor their stewardship of these lands since time immemorial to the present day. This land acknowledgement does not take the place of authentic relationships with indigenous communities.
