The Manager of Retail Operations & Visitor Experience is responsible for overseeing all aspects of museum store operations, merchandising, and purchasing while developing and implementing a new vision for MoNA Store. This position will lead efforts to reposition the store as a vibrant, mission-driven retail destination that enhances the visitor experience, reflects the museum’s identity, and supports earned revenue goals.
The ideal candidate is both a creative retail strategist and hands-on manager with an entrepreneurial mindset who can transform the store into a compelling destination that reflects the museum’s identity, engages diverse audiences, and drives sustainable growth. The ideal candidate has a strong aesthetic sensibility, attention to detail and proven strong execution skills. The successful candidate is customer-focused and community-oriented, adaptable, proactive and innovative.
This position supervises two part-time Store Sales Associates and is a member of the Museum leadership team.
