Join us for an afternoon with Seattle artist Kimberly Trowbridge in conversation with MoNA's Director of Curatorial Affairs and Curator of Northwest Art, Christian Waguespack, as they discuss the influence of Northwest icon Michael Spafford on her own artistic career. Trowbridge's painting, Night Moves, is currently paired with Spafford's Leda and the Swan, 1975, in At the Seam: The Museum of Northwest Art's Permanent Collection.
This event will include a casual discussion about select pieces from MoNA’s collection with Christian Waguespack, a conversation with Kimberly Trowbridge, and time for a Q&A.
This conversation is a part of MoNA’s Member Salon series - a series of talks curated especially for our members - designed to dive deep into artistic topics of the Northwest.
