  • Geometric String Art Inspired by Jo Baer

    Inspired by Jo Baer's minimalist graph-paper drawings, Triangle, students will create a geometric art piece by sewing an acute or obtuse angle using thread on paper. Art Box: Sewing Box

  • Mixed-Media Art Inspired by Bradd Skubinna

    Students will use a variety of found materials and follow specific directions but create a unique and personal work of art inspired by artist Bradd Skubinna. Art Boxes: 3D Collage and Recycled Materials

  • Mixed-Media Brain Portraits Inspired by Aleah Chapin

  • Northwest Coastal Native Designs: Burned Cedar Boards Inspired by Kevin Paul

    Students will explore elements of design and create their own unique wood burning inspired by the carvings of Kevin Paul.

  • Papermaking Inspired by Joseph Ramsey

    his activity will teach students how to recycle materials to create their own sustainable, handmade paper.

    Inspired by artist Suze Woolf, students will make art based on the patterns and textures created by the pine bark beetles.

    Based on the work of Katie Creyts, students will make a sand painting that combines different shapes to make an image that tells a story or a scene from a story.
