Join us for an artist talk with area favorite Whiting Tennis. Showing in the main galleries of the Museum of Northwest Art this Summer, Tennis mounts drawings, paintings and sculptures exploring the origination of line and form. Tennis seeks to understand how line seems to underlie conscious thought in the mind and aims to create pieces that let loose his primal creative force, resisting the urge to impose conventional shape.

Following the artist talk, please stay for the opening reception of our Summer Exhibitions from 2 to 5pm.
