Lynn Ries retired from banking after a 39-year career working for Peoples Bank (acquired by U.S. Bank) for 30 years and then Citigroup Private Bank. She lived in the Bellevue & Seattle area until moving to La Conner full time in 2012.
Lorne Render served as the Director of the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art for 12 years. He was also Executive Director of the C.M. Russell Museum, and Head of the Exhibit Design department of the Royal Ontario Museum.
